Sorrow Will Turn Into
Joy
By
The Twelve Apostles
Date: Sixthday 8th April 2022
Event: Sabbath prayers and worship
A Little While
“A little while, and you will see me no more;
again a little while, and you will see me.”
Some of his disciples said to one another, “What is this that He says to
us, ‘A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you
will see me’; and, ‘because I go to the Father’?” They said, “What does He mean by ‘a little
while’? We do not know what He means.”
Jesus knew that they wanted to ask Him; so He said to them, “Is this
what you are asking yourselves, what I meant by saying, ‘A little while, and
you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me’? Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and
lament, but the world will rejoice; you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will
turn into joy. When a woman is in
travail she has sorrow, because her hour has come; but when she is delivered of
the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a child is born
into the world. So you have sorrow now,
but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take
your joy from you – whoever that attains the kingdom of heaven has everlasting
joyfulness and gladness of heart. In
that day you
will ask nothing of me – every need of yours shall be provided and all your
problems solved. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask anything of the
Father, He will give it to you in my name.
Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name; ask, and you will receive,
that your joy may be full. John 16:16-24
Peace For The Disciples
“I have said this to you in figures; the hour
is coming when I shall no longer speak to you in figures but tell you plainly
of the God the Almighty Father. In that
day you will ask in my name; and I do not say to you that I shall pray the
Father for you; for the Father Himself
loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from the
Father and as the Father. I came from
the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and
going to the Father, my greater self, just like a breeze goes forth from a
strong wind, and later the breeze returns and rejoins the same wind.”
His disciples said, “Ah, now you are speaking
plainly, not in any figure! Now we know
that you know all things, and need none to question you; by this we believe
that you came from God.” Jesus answered
them, “Do you now believe? The hour is
coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, every man to his home,
and will leave me alone; yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me. I have said this to you, that in me you may
have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have
overcome the world.” John 16:25-33
The Gift Of His Peace
Peace I leave with
you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do
I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27
1.
Jesus is the Truth.
2.
The Holy Spirit is the comforter.
3.
The same Holy Spirit is the counsellor.
4.
The Holy Spirit relieves the children of God of their
burden, cares and worries of everyday life.
Jesus Warns And Comforts His Disciples
"These things I
have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble.
They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever
kills you will think that he offers God service. And these things they will do
to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. But these things I have
told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them.
And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with
you.” John 16:1-4
1. People
troop to the churches, ministries and fellowship for what God would do for
them, when they supposed to be asking for mercy and abiding in keeping the
everlasting covenant. They are looking for miracles, signs and wonders, and the
Devil is using these things to deceive so many souls, both ministers and
members, into the hellfire.
2. People do
not want to know the truth.
3. They do
not want to keep God’s laws, times and festivals.
4. They do
not want to know what God wants from them.
5. They do
not want to study Spiritual Science, to be able to grow in spirit and in truth.
6. Among the
worst set are those who like to receive blessings and answers to their prayers,
without contributing anything to God’s ministry.
7. Double
blessed are those who dine and wine, who eat and drink, who serve and work, in
the house of God, for they partake of both earthly and heavenly life.
Sorrow Will Turn To Joy
Most assuredly, I say
to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will
be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. John 16:20
1.
A little while means during and after His death, and
before His second coming.
2.
Physically, Jesus seems to be is no longer present.
3.
But spiritually, He is always present, for no one is
ever alone.
4.
Like a woman in labour, humanity have to pass through
trials and tribulations, for their own spiritual growth, experience and
maturity.
5.
At last, the true saints shall have everlasting
joyfulness and gladness of heart in heaven.
Jesus Christ Has
Overcome the World
These things I have
spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the
world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the
world." John 16:33
You overcome the
world:
1. By keeping
The Original Ten Commandments Of God And By Observing
His Seven annual festivals, as written in Exodus 20.
2. By selflessness,
in serving God and humanity, without expecting rewards, thanks, praises, force
or persuasion.
3. By
devotion, through quiet times and meditation.
4. By not
making your life full of various desires, which distract your attention from
doing God’s work and attaining the kingdom of heaven.
Ask And You Shall Receive
And whatever you ask
in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be
glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name,
I will do it. John 14:13,14
1.
The expression ‘anything you ask’ does not include
evil or disobedience.
2.
And it does not allow any person to make requests or
petitions that are against the laws, times and word of God.
3.
It is not a license for anybody to change the laws,
times and festivals of God.
4.
God answers prayers.
5.
By God is meant God Almighty, Jesus Christ, Holy
Spirit or Angels of God.
6.
When you ask in the name of Jesus, your prayer is the
same as presented before God by Jesus.
7.
Whenever Jesus receives a petition or prayer point, He
sends it to the throne of God, saying, “Father, you will be done”.
8.
The privilege to ask in the name of Jesus does not
mean every prayer shall be answered, especially if the prayer point is wrong,
evil, unnecessary or contrary to the will of God.

same God as a man. But these things I have told you, that when the time comes,
you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I did not say to you
